I would like to introduce you to my family.

My beautiful wife and best friend, Kellie and I will be married 6 years in October 2007. Kellie and I met in 2000 via the Internet. We hit it off right away and were married in October 2006. She has always supported my fishing habit (addiction) 100 percent. She is there for the weigh in's, travels with the kids when I fish out of town, and puts up with the early mornings and late evenings that are associated with tournament fishing. She is my #1 fan.

My fantastic son, Brendan
My oldest child, Brendan, turned 5 in May and will start school in the Fall of 2007. Every day he amazes me with his wit and intelligence, he a joy to have around. He was natural to water, his first bass boat ride occurred at 6 weeks old. His first real fishing trip came in summer of 2006 on Lake Erie. I set up a few poles with drop shot rigs and starting dragging them along the North Shore, after 45 minutes of fishing, he had boated 8 nice fat smallmouths. He makes that any table fair fish (walleye) make it in the livewell. He is always the first welcome me home from a day on lake, and cleans the boat of any broken or left over soft plastic baits for his tackle box.

My Beautiful daughter, Josie
On February 3rd, 2006, our family was blessed with a little angel, Josie Elizabeth Dowd. The first blessing was she was the first Dowd girl and grand daughter to be born to my side of the family, so she was spoiled right off the bat. Before Josie was born, she was diagnosed with Aperts Syndrome. This caused some concern at first, but most of our fears were for not. Josie has had over 5 major operations since her birth including a cranio advancement, 3 major hand operations on both hands, a cleft pallet repair and spending over 20 weeks in a Spica cast (full body cast) for a hip disorder. Other than these few inconveniences, she is one heck of a trooper; she takes every day in stride. She truly is a blessing to my family!
